99 3.8 Camaro vs 94 3.8 Mustang

a kid from my school just bought a 94 mustang with a 3.8 and dual exhaust. he said he is wanting to race me pretty bad cause i have the camaro. What should the outcome be and do u guys have any tips for me?

I suggest you go buy a set of binoculars, so you cn keep track of how far behind your car he will be.

If its an auto, he midaswell /life. My old 3.4 would walk away from that car, you should have nothing to worry about, especially because its not even a split port.

Now i have been in my cousin's 2002 GT (which he hates), and it would probably be a close race with my stock '98 Camaro. If you think you are a good enough driver, which probably not even too good, you will beat him. good luck.

I dont think that it would be a close race at all with your stock 200hp v6 against a 265hp v8 GT bro. They run 14.1 stock, we only do about mid 15's stock. I am not a Mustang lover by any means but, I gotta give credit where its due and I think the GT would beat ya pretty good.

I would still put my money on the Camaro. It has 7 more hp to start with plus the exhaust.

Heh, sorry oneeee last question. Buddy of mine just got an 03 V6 Stang, its an M5 I believe. Only mod he has is exhaust. Drivers race or what? I'm auto with Whisper Lid and 3" Catco and Rumbler.
