  • Do you think this car is cursed?

    Okay, here's the story...

In 10 years of driving I have never had any problems with cars or driving except for involving this one car!

In March 2003, some lady hit and ran my car.
9 days later, it was broken into.
2 months after that it was stolen and trashed.

I stopped driving it, my parents took it instead. Drove it from MA to FL and left it there as their car there - no problems.

2 weeks ago, they were driving it back to me to swap it for my car so they could sell the sebring in MA, and they wanted to use it on vacation in SC for a week.

On the way to SC, they were on the highway in the middle lane, cars surrounding them and a guy in a truck pulling a trailer zoned out/fell asleep/got distracted or something and managed to barrel into them going 80mph. They were really lucky since if he'd hit them at an angle they would've spun out and probably been badly hurt or killed.

They were fine but my car's trunk was totally bashed in a partial frame damage and the independent appraiser said it was probably going to be totalled.

So is this car cursed and I should let it go in peace, or if they offer it back to me to buy, should I buy it back and either try to fix it or sell it for the parts? It's a 96 accord that was running perfectly and I just needed it to drive around occasionally in since I work from home... please no comments about the fact that it's a honda ;)

put stickers on them first. 'NOS' and 'APC' are good ones.

                cursed?!?

your car may be, but i KNOW mine is

First day - someone bumped the front pass. bumper/light in the parking lot of the dealership

                -water pump went out

-car gets broken into (by method of PRYING my door open)

-all sorts of bad repair work to my car from that

-car get hits down entire driver's side

-tons of repair headaches from that

-car broken into WHLIE getting repaired at dealership

--now my car was sitting around with no insurance, because i bought a new car... i go wash it, and go to take it back to the corner and WHAM no traction on wet road and slammed headfirst into guardrail.

i am still waiting for my parents to find out what happened, haven't had the GUTS to tell them yet.... im very very scared :(

                CURSED!
