I decided to do up the six. I think I am looking at $6K (current estimate - will likely go up)
wow..$6K for 325 at the wheels??..sh*t if ALL i was doing was performance i could do that for about $500..probably half that cost if it were going to be constant power

If that's the case, what's the $3K solution?

(not trying to be a PIA, if I can save $3K, I want to know)

I already tried to go this route and it doesnt work at all. Its going to cost about 10,000 dollars for the ls1 and t56 transmission. Then you got to upgrade the rear end and driveshaft cause are v6 bodies cant really handle that much power. So basiclly its going to come about 11000 to 13000 dollars to do the entire thing and that is including installation fees. for 13000 dollars You couldbuy a v8 with ws6 package and it will save you so much money and also for insurance if you dont report type of engine thenthey dont cover it. Has you know they make the firebird formula same body style v8 enginethough and that is what they would label your car has if you drop a v8 in it but has a ss not z/28
