  • I hit the Jackpot

No no no not in Vegas or Atlantic City but i hit the f-body jackpot. a friend of a friend just smashed his 98 z28 that he had just bought 2 days before and had yet to put insurance on. he was being ignorant and ran a stop sign because he didnt see anybody coming and t-boned a car. the driver had a broken diaphragm that required surgery. he is looking just to dump the car because he is going to get sued for everything he has. the z has loudmouth exhaust, leather interior, and ls1 with the 6 speed, a strut tower brace, multiple suspension mods, and other things. most of the suspension "looks" straight we shall see, but the engine is still perfect as is the tranny, and he only wants 2000 for the car. I just hope the insurance company of the victim doesnt get to it before i do.

The only problem i am running into is that i cant come close to affording insurance on an LS1. So if i do buy this car i will more than likely selling the engine. Anyone want one???

Screw that... buy the car and swap the motor into your car. You'll have an entire parts car there for you. Then part out whatever you dont want from the Z28 and your v6 motor and tranny and you might even come close to getting that 2000 back that you spent on buying the car.

Buy the car and put all the parts on yours!

Your insurance will likely not go up!

2000 dollars will get you new seats, loudmouth exhaust, and a V8?!

P.S., this is all assuming you have a V6 already.
