Yeah... who needs a 800+RWHP turboed LS1 show car 57 Chevy when you have a 3.4 Firebird right?

I don't see how any of you guys can really say what is practical or worthless.
No offense, but we have V6s which can be argued a lot more convincingly that modifications are worthless
Turbo ours for like 150hp over stock... turbo his for a 500 increase of crank hp...
Yet we still mod.. as other people complete "worthless" projects on their "worthless" LS1s. Maybe he just wanted a challenge? hehe
I'd take it as a daily driver and time :D

Wow... someone agrees with me? :D

I think Teal is just thinking of the wrong word, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Practical is the word you're looking for, not worthless.

You're forgeting that is a show car that is designed to show well and have some nuts to back it up. When was the last time you saw a 57 chevy with an LS1? When was the last time you saw a car with 8 turbos? When was the last time you saw all that together? Its rare... and thats what people will be talking about and remember seeing when they leave a show.

It's unique and interesting, but not practical.
