"The Looks"

I've heard a lot of people talk about how they love "the looks" they get after they got their car. I too have noticed this!

Maybe this is one of those "you have to be there moments"... I just got a kick out of it... I was driving by slowly following my dad... and this little.... must've been 4-year-old kid sees my car, raises his arm straight, and points at it with his jaw dropped. He just follows my car with his finger. I revved my engine for him lol. I hope that kid gets his f-body someday haha. I [img]graemlins/love.gif[/img] my new car so much.

when i first got my car, i noticed that too. sports cars aren't everywhere in my town like they are others. we've got a lot of rice though lol. lately, they just stare at my "custom front end" instaed of the whole car. she's in the shop though and i finally get her back this week. i can't wait :D .

I have had old men ask me "What type of car is that?" I love when that happens.

And once I was at a red light, a kid about 10 years old, takes a pic of my car with his cell phone camera, and gives me a thumbs up.

oh man paint it bright *** yellow with stipes lol, then see the looks, it so funny to see a guys girl friend basically crawlong over him to shout at me then him take off and im like hell no 2nd gear drop.... put a smile on her face make my world a better place....

lol the only bad part is i get people out of know were like hey i seen you on the hight like a month ago..... im like ok hello

I defiently noticed. I came from a '96 Escort station wagon, where more often than not I tried to duck down when anyone looked at me. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I usually get the kids pointing and the passenger chicks looking. My most memerable was:

Kid: I pull up next to a van at a stop light, one of the very few without tinted back windows. I look over and see the kid closest to me beating the crap out of his sibling trying to get his attentnion, pointing at my car.

Girl: Theres this pretty nice white Camaro that drives around. Stock-sounding RS, and has a huge CAMARO windshield banner. Well, I was taking a left and they go by, and his gf (I'm assuming) stares me down for as long as she could. She was quite the looker, too.

Then there was the time when I was getting gas. I finish and go in to pay. As I'm coming out, I see this van *slowly* drive by, and as I get closer I see this VERY hot woman (25, maybe very early 30s) HANGING out of her window staring at my car. This is after my cars day of beauty, and she was sitting just right under some lights.

Then I get the usual neighborhood kids freezing and pointing as I drive by. Ahh, good to be an f-body owner [img]smile.gif[/img]

Most people around here drive with tunnel vision and don't see anything going on around them. Especially other f-body people (kinda weird).
I still get the thumbs up every once and a while.

One thing I have missed recently is that I used to have people want to race me when my car wasn't running well. Now that it is fixed, I get no offers.

Maybe my hood scares them off

few days before my accident, i was getting gas... after paying, i walk out to my car and as i'm getting in, this very attractive woman (mid-late 20's i'm assuming) is staring at my car through the window of her iroc :D . hell yeah.

Hehe, It's different around here I guess... I was driving to work this morning and the highway was particularly crowded... like 6 cars drove by and ignored me... then sure enough...a black camaro just like mine slowed down and let me in. So many perks driving a nice car :D ... then later a mustang was trying to get in and I ignored him [img]tongue.gif[/img] Okay it wasn't that packed though [img]tongue.gif[/img] I normally let people in.

I was waiting at this light at this 4 way intersection probably a month after I got my car and this kid in a 93-98 (whatever body style after the fox body but not the new ones) red Mustang came across the intersection and he was staring in the direction of my car with his eyes bugging out of his head with his jaw dropped and I was like what the f*ck? and I realized he was looking at the bird. Then this chic at work bugged me for like a week and a half before I finally gave her a ride.

And then there’s this girl with a 93-97 white bird and she stalks me, every time I see her she fallows me around for a few minutes, kinda scary.

I get that look all the time i love it. With that deep shiny black with the t-tops down my rims polished with the sterio pounding my head against the stearing wheel. Makes you want to drool. :cool:

Speaks english much? My cousin who is 12 types better then you can. Sad, spend more time re-reading your posts. You really give me a headache sometimes.

Anyways, yes. It's always fun to turn heads. However I really have no privacy in my car, I've noticed. Whenever I'm at a light and just turn my head to look at something, I always notice a set of eyes on me. Good when it's girls, bad when it's a car full of Chitown GanGsTas. ;)
