or Track Auto to some of you??? There used to be one up on Duke Street in Alexandria, and also in Waldorf MD, but haven't seen them the last few times I visited back home. Just wondering so I cain know whether to stop using them as a goods parts store for........parts.

no one goes to thoughs shops anymore, they do piss poor jobs and charge a fortune.

Whenever i need assisstance with my car, i just take it over to Cooter Smith's shop down the road.

most of the track auto's were bought and converted to advance auto parts. i believe it was a step up. its hard to tell. they seem the same as pep boys really.

i still think i like autozone (one in fort washington, md and one in northern alexandria).

napa is generally everywhere and are carrying interesting products for a change. #2 for parts (but rather expensive).

yates was bought by carquest. better parts than napa usually, prices seem fair if you can convince the guys behind the counter you know want you want.

          anyone remember hi-gear auto?
