Um, if he was following you, he would have to follow you for a quarter mile. Dont mention that in court, but ask the officer where it was the car squeeled, and then ask him where it was he pulled you over. If it's less than a 1/4 mile, at a constant speed, then the charge is thrown out. Bring that up with the lawyer as well. I f'in hate cops who pull $hit like this! Sorry to hear about this. But like eveyone said, call a lawyer, and call the DA, and talk to the officers supervisor and in a calmly manner, explain the situation, etc. Show proof of the brake tag in court, and just explain to the judge. A lot of them are leniant.
