yes. because most of them are acting like little kids( they said is style) on the streets. today when i was getting out of work, I saw one running like crazy ,and he told that I want raced me,I ask him for what?? he said for honor
is that some kind of attitude???
I mean the cars and its crap,the way that gets dressed,the music style and now, the fast and furious crap.
Iam asking that because where I work,the rice is one of us common costumers.

I've seen cars with wild wings, fart cans, neon lights, wild paint jobs. I knew a guy who had a big A on the hood of his Acura and little ones on the side mirrors. He wrecked it, bought a 300zx. Again with the wild wing, the neon lights inside and out, wheels that cost 1/2 what he paid for the car. Me, I just had a simple 3.4 A4 Camaro with a flowmaster muffler. Now I got a simple 3.8 vert with no mods at all. So bloody what.

My point? Who gives a rats *** what the other guy/girl drives. Unless you are the jealous type.

My friend is somewhat a ricer.. he used to have a huge wing on integra... but then he took it off, slammed his ride and put nice rims and TV in it... looks nice now and I wouldn't call it rice... only rice thing is 7 inch exhaust, everything else is slick and smooth.

The cars are not the culprit, it's the immature people who drives them. They are no different from us who likes to modify cars as a hobby. But if you think the streets, residential area, and fwy's are race tracks, then think again. There's immature people on both sides, import and domestic. So don't blame the cars, blame the people. I know alot of young people with imports or what you call rice cars with the maturity to know that racing are done in a track.

My cousin is a ricer. He has 2000 tiburon lowered with front and back body kit. Its a 4cyl. He came over one night with headers in his trunk. Me and my dad decided to help him out. Putting the headers on took all night. My dad hates a import. He said if i ever brought a car home non domestic it wasnt allowed to sit in garage. Headers got put on the car and my dad was pissed because took him all night and headers dont make much difference on a 4 cyl. Me and cousin go for a ride and ricer mentality happens soon as he takes off. "I think i got 40 horsepower from these headers". Hes constantly telling me how much faster his car will be with under drive pulleys and cam gear. His car does beat mine pretty bad. My car had a miss when i raced him first few times and finally and injector went bad in my car. Once my car gets fixed il give him another run. But yea Ricer mentality gets off my nerves. He did say "My next car is going to be a old chevelle or camaro". He has a little country boy left in em.

There are so darn many down here, and every time I go to the "hang out" there are a few that come up and strike up a convorsation and are pretty mellow.

I had a pet V6 Mustang once!! ( Met this girl in Virginia when I was stationed there and she wanted to learn about modding her Mustang ) :D

most of my friends are ricers. they all drive hondas and all of them talk constantly about the turbo kits, stroker kits, body kits, all kinds of kits they're gonna get for their cars. however, not one of them runs faster than 16 seconds, a couple are in the 17's. and yet, they talk $hit to me all the time, saying they'll whoop my a$$ because my car is "only" a V6 camaro. my response to them is simple:

Me: "How fast does your car run?"
Ricer Friend: "i don't know, i've never taken it to the track, it's too slow anyway."
Me: "So why do you say you're gonna beat me when you don't even know what it runs?"
Ricer Friend: "Whatever man, you don't know anything."
