I used WD-40 or something like that. There was a big nest of them right inside of a horizontal pole at my house. So one day I went out there (when they were all awake) and sprayed the outside of the pole and lit it up on fire. Then I sprayed the inside right after I lit it up which caused the fire to run right inside the pole.
