I just got $5000 from stocks. I don't know what to do with it. I'm planning on getting an STI at the end of the summer. Should I use it as a down payment, or put it into the camaro? I have tiago's turbo kit, I was thinking of using it to build up the motor. Any ideas? Thanks

Individual stocks are too volatile to be picking if you have no idea what you're doing. And if you're asking for financial advice on a car performance site, I'd say that's a safe bet.

If you're not going to have the money professionally managed, park it in something simple like an index fund and let is sit there for a decent amount of time.

I'm sure Stefan will give you similar advice.

Or you can blow it all on car parts. You'd be smart to find some sort of happy medium though.

I'd put half in the bank and spend the other half on whatever. Just my opinion.

take the money put it in saving, then take out a securde loan on it, you'll have low APR and when the loan is paid off you still have your 5000-5500 (inerest in the savings)

                thats what i do
