YES!!! And i live in CA! I actually follow greg maddux, but then Kerry Wood joined, and so did Mark Prior. I knew before he went to the big leagues that he would succeed. Now they have Maddux. I was SO glad that they brought that series to an end with a win against the Cardinals. It really had my balls in a salad shooter.
Atleast we'll be over 500 when we pickup after the Allstar game. I was glad to see Wood put up such a display after being on the disabled list for a good while. I was pretty happy with yesterday's game, execpt the bottom of the 9th. That had me going for a little while. It'll be nice once the cubs get their 3rd and short stop back playing. I would love to see them going to the world serise this year. I'd kill to see that!!!! I'd give my left harm. It's great to see Wood piching! Can't wait for him to be at full strength. I had a feeling he was going to go all out yesterday, and he sure did. I always love to watch fonsworth pitch. He sure does have one heck of an arm!!!99 camaro... Life long Cardinals fan here. Cubs will be where they always are come august-september...in the cellar.
