Anyone have experience with this?
Last night I sent paypal payment for item on a computer website using instant transfer from washington mutual checking account instead of my credit card by accident. My credit card was just my "back-up source". I quickly checked my bank account balance online and it was still the same as before but the balance was $30 less than price of the purchase.
So I quickly transfered extra money from my savings to checking to try and avoid an overdraft charge. 12 hours later the account shows that no money has been taken out of my checking for the purchase of the item yet (but does show that I transfered extra money into it)...
Meanwhile the item was successfuly processed after about an hour or two, and later shipped this morning. I checked my credit card balance just now and it has no recent activity on it either...Do you think I'll be fine?
Cliff Notes: Used Paypal instant transfer from checking for payment, Price $30 higher than what I had left in my checking. Quickly added more funds to checking from savings. Will paypal actually use my credit card if there wasnt enough $$$ in my checking? Dont want an overdraft charge
