i've done this before.. it took me 8 hours cause it went smoothly.


Well this time.. total opposite.

Quick question. Im going to just lift the frame over the engine and work at it like that.

I have the cherry picker and tools.. you think it'll be much easier like that? what do i use to keep the engine and front suspension from buckling or falling over once the fram is lifted from it?

does anyone have a write up?

I was thinking that sounded rediculously hard. I've heard of people jacking the engine up, but never lifting the whole body off of the car. Unless you were talking about dropping the engine, but that would require the car to be on a lift.

I put my pacesetters in just by dropping the exhaust and removing some things from the engine (I forget what).. it was a COMPLETE pain in the a$$, 8 hours of work, but it worked out. I remember having to !EGR.
