              Nice!!! Now, can you cook anything with that or are you just going raw?

              But I'm still just looking forward to the 12% - 15% annual appreciation that single-family homes have here in the D.C. area. Buy the house for $400k, make $40k-$60k in equity in one year... its like having a third salary. [img]graemlins/naughty.gif[/img]

              Of course, I gotta cough up $400,000 for a 5-bedroom colonial with two-car garage way out in the boondocks. Houses here closer to the city start at $700k. :(

                  Good luck in your house hunt. We got ours for $96k 4 months ago, put $6k into it w/ new flooring, paint, had it reappraised at $120k to a Home Equity Line. Gonna use that line to pave the driveway and build a 2nd garage, which should boost it $10-15k more.
