• Very rude wake up call...

Well this morning while Jamie and I were sleeping we received a very abrupt wake up. At 7:30 this morning she and I both woke up very quickly as we heard tires squeeling down the street, a loud crash as 2 cars collided, followed by a loud thud.
I sat up in bed and looked out the window that is right above our heads. What I see to my amazement is a car in my yard with its bumper kissing a tree. This tree is only 8 feet from our window.
It looks as if the car (the one in my yard) , that was trying to take a left into my street, didn't see an on coming car. The SUV traveling in the opposite direction directly T-Boned the car sending it into our yard...
All I have to say is good thing someone planted that tree long ago...

Yeah, I think I might move our bed to a wall not directly facing one of the streets we're on the corner of!!! We would've had one helluva headache if that tree hadn't been there since the wall and window the car would've come flying through is where our headboard is... damn lucky.. two inches off and the car would've missed the tree

Yeah, we are thinking about growing a giant wall of redwoods around the house. Especially around the driveway. I have a hard enough time keeping the car in running condition, NM if a car hits it. I would have a hard time working on the car from jail. :D

Get some of those cement posts that you see in front of buildings to guard your bedroom so random cars can't drive in. :D

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
