Well actually, I just added a 2005 GTO 6 spd. Actually the cheapest of all choices at 30 grand.

My vote would definitly be the 05 GTO. But if you wanted something a little different without looking too ricey maybe look into a Porsche Boxster. Its not too far from the price of the 350Z or the G35. Brand new they are around 43K, but you can find excellent pre-owned. Mid-engine, 2.7 6 cylinder 240hp. You may also want to include the Audi TT, Pontiac Solstice, or maybe even the new Dodge Charger.
