Does anyone else fall asleep under their car?

I've done it a handful of times now, not for pure fun, but I fall asleep while working on my car.

With the warmer weather and the fact that I am working out of a very small garage I sometimes fall asleep. It's usually if I'm doing something mundane (changing the oil or tightening my hanger brackets for the rear exhaust). I'll be a little tired, lay back and the next thing I know I'm jerking awake a few minutes later.

Has this happened to anyone else or is it just some kind of random narcolepsy?

Nah I did it one night installing some new mounts. Took a little break and ended up sleeping for 4 hrs under my car.

Sometimes after 9hrs of laying under the car working its easier to just fall asleep then get up and go inside lol.

I have once ... maybe twice -- usually right after finishing the task at hand.

rofl.. I donno.. how can you fall asleep under 3000lb of weight above, that can fall down, too... when I get under the car, usually I'm pumped with adrenaline... that means totally opposite of being sleepy.

It's pretty easy. It's warm outside, and the concrete is so cool, and even though I have a spotlight under the car it's fairly dark. Combine that with the silence and boom I'm asleep.

I was freaked out the first time it happened (Cause the car could fall on me) but seeing as how the car hasn't fallen on me I don't care too much now. Just annoying from time to time.

Not sure why a car would just fall on you for no reason lol. What do you do put the jack stand on your tires?

yeah no joke lol... remember when i dropped mine on my shoulder? rofl... but seriously, you guys are nutcakes man. I have no idea how you could do that, but then again, I can't even sleep on a damn bus so i guess im just a picky sleeper (when i'm sober lol)
