  • What do you guys think of this project car...

    '97 GTP
    2 door
    Black
    167,000 miles

    and this description.
Basically I am just trying to get rid of this car. The car needs lots of work. Buyer should be someone who wants or is at least prepared to work on a car. It started to cost to much for me to maintain. All AC components are new yet still doesnt work, probably a leak. Battery may be dead also. Still though the supercharger alone has value and the A/C parts cost me around 1,500. It's listed at around 4,500 in good condition with the mileage. The car though is far from good condition. Really just looking for best offer.
EDIT: he is asking $1,000 obo

jump on it but be prepared for alot of work and a possible motor change within 5-10k miles, Gtp motors usually only last 135k miles unless its driven by a old lady

Go for it. Just rebuild the engine/tranny, new tires, and get the AC working.

                    $1000 is a steal.

Out of debt and coming out on top...

and last wed at the track clutch held up fine but I was running paper filter stock.

I am expecting lots of work... I think I might go for it if there is no major mechanical problems of immediate engine/tranny death.
