Not mocking it, even from here, but sarcasm is hard to portay over "teh interneet". I have an idea as what they are, but have never really gotten into them. Even one of teh columnists over at lordsofpain.com has gone from written column to podcast. It's just not my cup of tea. But then I am paid to improvise, overcome, & adapt...... even half way across the world [img]graemlins/wavey.gif[/img]

preston and steve show is very fun to listen to in the morning. only prob is i need music to keep me awake, so i cant listen to them often.

I do work, and this is part of my MWR benifit. Caint work the 16hr workday & not bust some ballz stateside ;)

closest thing to a mascot I've seen around here has been a gecco. We called him Gordon.

Maybe when we go out to the ZIGGURAT I'll see something worthy of mascot status, and get some new FV6 pics for everyone ;) :D

It is "essentially" an mp3 file. Some do come in the form of .mp3, while some come in as .m4b (bookmarkable) or as simple .m4a which is just an AAC audio file.

Podcasting is really nothing new, it's just got a new name and face for this part of the game. Apple embraced something that Adam Curry put the backing into from the beginning. Had MS or someone else put a good front end on it and gave it a shiny name.. they too would be the "darling" of the computer industry.
