    Does anyone know why my damn Xbox wont play burnt CD's? Its really annoying!!!

    Try burning at like 1x or 2x?

      Use CD-RW's and you'll be fine.

        theres a list on the web that shows what brands work, there are a few CD-R brands that work but i know for sure Memorex CD-RWs work

          Burned DVD's do too (without mod chip!)

          But that's just movies in my experience...err...um...backups ;) . I haven't tried a burned game.

              You must have a modchip to play burnt games...believe me...I know. My XBOX right now supports a 250G hard drive with 100+ games I can play straight from it. Its much faster than getting up and getting the game from the shelf. Only the Samsung DVD drive will play CD-R's. They should all play CD-RW's...at least thats my experience.
