If there's going to be a new Camaro, you can bet Pontiac will clamor to high heaven to get a new Firebird. Also, I noticed a little slit across the front of the hood which looks like a place for a red scanner. If there is a new Firebird, and the upcoming Knight Rider movie (now in preproduction) needs a new KITT, well...

...I remember reading about how Glen Larson fell in love immediately with the 82 Trans Am, and knew from the start that it would be perfect for the series. I'm salivating over the prospect of a new Firebird, in addition to the return of KITT!

Question, please change your avatar, please. That thing is not work safe and I'm going to get in trouble.

Yeah, that Camaro looks cool. I wonder if they are going to have options like Z28 and SS?

Couldn't agree with you more about the engine bay. I like clean engine bays, but all the plastic covering up stuff now just looks cheap to me.

Case and point, the concept Mustang GT engine bay:

If anything, it will be very similar to this with plastic'ish fuel rail covers:

Thats true about it being different for production. It just seems like covering engines is becoming a trend so it looks neat for people who have no clue what any of the stuff in there is.

                            Examples:

Heh, that is true... But I like the clean look. Today's engines aren't as 'pretty' to look at as the old muscle because of all the hoses, wiring, emission stuff etc... so might as well just hide it all from view with a shiny cover.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
