  • 45 pounds later......talk about weight reduction!

Started off at 227 pounds last summer
Was probably around 220 in January
    Started Atkins in January
    Got down to 191
1.5 months ago joined the gym for only cardio work out
I only make it there 2-4 times a week... but I'm trying

    182 pounds this morning :D

I'm very happy with this progress.

I do not stick 100% to the atkins diet, sure, I go ahead and have some candy n stuff... but this is the only thing that has worked out for me.

I FULLY understand it is a way of life, not a short term diet.

Recent cholesterol test 168 <--- included because everyone mentions this.

I've probably cut back on the meat intake since the test.

My goal was to get under 200 lbs... guess I surpassed it.

I'm not too sure how far I can go with this, recently with the joining of the gym the weight comes off VERY slowly... but I'm loosing a lot of fat. I've been paying attention to the way cloths fit on me... and in no time they gets lots of extra room.

    I was a size 38 jean.
I can get into a size 33 now
T shirt size, XL, now L

It is damn expensive though. Junkfood is cheap, atkins food and fruit n veggies is expensive.

I eat HUGE amounts of fruit and veggies now....a trip to the supermarket lasts 3-4 days MAX... then I gotta get more.

    Oh well, I'm very happy.

If someone is looking to lose weight.. not a little bit but a lot, this has worked out VERY well for me.

I went on the atkins site, read up, bought a couple books on it... and progressed from there.

Just wanted to say....... yeah me!

Congrats! Maybe you'll be touching the 11's without any other car mods. Or you can have my 150 pounds of FIERCE bring that thing down the track. ;)
