• Has anyone ever been to this website?

I will start by saying DO NOT GO HERE!

But I was at w-w-w-.-s-k-i-n-s-.-b-e getting wallpapers... so I got a wallpaper, then took a shower, and when I came back from my shower there was about 15 .exe files running on my computer and trying to put themselves in my startup folder. They were also ALL OVER my registry..

I scan for viruses and find that there were 2 ".jpeg eexploits" in my temporary internet files.

Has anyone had a similar experience with this site? I would not recommend going there AT ALL.

changed link so it is not as direct

Ok I wont. If you dont have Mozilla Firefox web browser than you should get it. Also, go to download.com and get spywareblaster 3.2 it prevents those things from trying to install and blocks websites that use them

Sorry about that, James.

I got all the stuff fixed with Spy Sweeper, trend's online virus scanner, and a little registry editing

I just consider it HIGHLY ILLEGAL for people to be able to do this.
People get in trouble for spreading worms, how is spyware any different? It causes the same amount of damage, if not more, to personal computers.

I've got 1 damn file that won't go away...

It is not on my HD, I clean it out of my registry, scan for spyware, then do all of that again in safe mode to be sure, and it still comes back when I reboot... it is pissing me off now.

I have to write a Philosophy paper right now and it's driving me crazy that my computer isn't fixed lol.
Oh well... get it fixed tomorrow I guess.

www.mcafee.com has one you can try for like 30 days and if you like it buy it

EDIT: it will still work after 30days but you just can't update it without paying th 7 bucks peryear to get the updates

How do you get a virus when all you do is rightclick and say set as background? I've been there and I don't mind it. Some pretty nice pictures

I ask myself that too. I think it has something to do with a windows exploit.. some how being able to run scripts on your computer through .jpeg files.

windows is so full of bugs that when you go to some pages you can get spyware... just by going on it.
