• See, Its not always me

Ok, so alot of times a post will get deleted or locked w/o comment and everyone always seems to blame me. well here's proof its not always me.

this started w/ me asking DrSquirts (now Dan M) about his name change:

BfunkOSU : why a new name?
Dan13408 : "DrSquirts" was gettin old... and i dont use it anywhere else
Dan13408 : and i graduated from high school ;)
BfunkOSU : lol
BfunkOSU : good point
BfunkOSU : no one will know who you are when you post now
Dan13408 : yeah
Dan13408 : i can moderate discretely
Dan13408 : i did change the sig to make known the change though
BfunkOSU : yeah, even though people blame me for stuff when you moderate discretely
Dan13408 : lol
Dan13408 : rock on
Dan13408 : im gonna keep doin it then
BfunkOSU : lol
BfunkOSU : i hate you
BfunkOSU :
Dan13408 : *delete* *delete* *delete* *delete* *delete* *delete* *delete* *delete*
Dan13408 : *move* *move* *move* *edit* *move* *edit*
Dan13408 : *insult admins* *edit* *move* *move*
BfunkOSU : lol
Dan13408 : im debating posting this conversation in the lounge
Dan13408 : just to let the populace know that i care....
BfunkOSU : lol
BfunkOSU : you should, that way they know its not always me
BfunkOSU : if you dont, i will ;)

Well i am sorry, but i know sometimes it is obvious but i think everytime the thread gets locked you should get on and say i am locking this thread do to xxxxxx insert the reason, and if you delete a thread put up a post that is locked saying why you deleted it. But that is my opinion.

Yes, when a thread is locked it is nice to give a reason even when it's obvious. Many threads get out of hand and/or go off topic and are no longer worthwhile.

When a thread is deleted, the user who started the thread should receive an email.

When a thread is moved, there are two options. A locked copy of the thread is left in the original forum or an email is sent to the thread originator and the original thread is deleted.

Now, let's not take this off-topic anymore.

if i lock a thread i usually post why, unless its obvious. but if i delete it I'm not gonna waste my time or the sites bandwidth by making a new topic about why i deleted it. theres a rule on the board saying not to start a new topic about locked or deleted threads, that goes for mods too.

now this thread wasnt supposed to be about "work", more of just a fun thread.

on topic

Just to let everyone know... we do have another Admin that usually "lurks" and will take out any threads he deems "non-helpful". He is wise and usually will see an issue getting ready to start and that is why he takes them out... like a sniper :D

So don't always blame the mods. They do usually post why they have stopped a thread.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
