• Hitched?

Hey, I just got a Reese trailer hitch put on my Camaro. I know I know, a Camaro shouldn't have a hitch. But I have a Yamaha Wave Runner II that I need to tow around with me to my cottage, camping, and just fun weekends on Lake Ontario.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has hitched their Camaro?

I pulled my wave runner for 2.5 hours on Friday at highway speed up to 140km/h (85ish MPH) with no problem, the car pulls like a champ.

My wave runner and trialer combo only weigh about 800lbs probably.

I saw a 3rd gen GTA pulling a trailer once. It looked kind of weird.

LOL, yeah, I was getting a lot of weird looks towing the seadoo, ecspecially at 130KM/H down the highway passing people on the left.

So what if the seadoo sits 2 feet taller on the trailer then my car :D

I wouldnt do it personally, but I can see why you did. Towing vehicles can be expensive, and buying another car isnt always an option.... and ive almost bought a waverunner hehe

I'd go ahead & have subframes installed. It'll tighten up the chassis & tow better. You have a class 1 hitch right??

We put my buddies 97 T/A on my lift right after he bought it and we found a hitch on that, lol. He said I could have it because I planned on buying one to tow my motorcycle. I don't see anything wrong with it.

YEah, speed rated to 90mph, I wouldn't want to go that fast though, 80 is good enough for me.

I have a hotch but it's only for my bike rack. I also have a Reese, it uses a drawbar - not a full receiver. I have a shadowmount and it's trully barely noticeable I love it for my bikes, but I'd never tow with my car.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
