• farewell everyone... kinda

My car had too many problems and it wasnt worth putting money into. I have a 2003 Cavalier 2.2 5sp for my commuter car. I no longer will have much use for v6 camaro information.

I must say though that i have learned alot here and i mean alot. This is by far the best moderated, managed, and most useful forum I know. You fellow camaro owners are a one of a kind. I still have a 82 z28 but my memories were made in my 96. THank you guys (and gals) for a wealth of information, great posts, fun things to talk about, and most of all the money i saved by the information you all gave.

I will still post every once in a while but am now looking for a cavalier forum. If anyone knows of any that would be good. if there was one half as good as this forum i would be happy. Now if i modify my cavy it is for mileage purposes.

If anyone needs anything like IBCM info, or other things just shoot me an email. If i could be of encouragement or you would like me to pray for you i would be happy to.

Again thanks for a wonderful forum with many great members. Remember to always keep your cars faster than a v8 stang...

i wont be gone forever, i would miss you guys and gals too much. when im on the computer i will check in and read the forums and give my input like usual, i just wont have much to ask as far as camaro related questions. the amount of things i have learned from you all and from the archives would be wasted if i just kept it all to myself.

btw your awesome thor!!! i have always enjoyed your posts and your point(s) of view(s)

firefighter, thanks for the sites i will look into them when i have more time. i did firefighting for a little while as a volunteer cadet then a first responder while i was in high school.

          flashover training is cool

dang just looked at the ecotec forum and they are running the same times stock as the camaro 3.8s. i know different car and all, but im happy my commuter gas sipping stocker will still hold its own against a honda.

someone please tell me. is my car a solid car or is it another typical car that will go to crap quick if i romp on it?

im sure the engine will hold up, chevys have good engines, but will the interior start falling apart fast and the body panels get loose and rattle?

If you beat on any car it will die quicker. My cavy will be faster than the my camaro was. Last time I ran it, almost stock and in pretty bad weather it ran a best of 15.9 at 88 mph, My 60' sucked so the et should have been lower. Now I know how to launch, its cooler and I have some good mods now, I am looking to running a low 15 and getting close to my camaro best trap speed of 92 mph. This car is harder to launch than my camaro, M5-FWD and A4-RWD.
