There's no other way to say it - she's dead. It started last Friday when she was having chest pains. Her fiancé took her to the hospital and she went into surgery to replace a valve near her heart. They were only able to complete half the surgery in 8 hours, and they were going to finish the next day. Sunday morning the main artery to her brain burst. She was declared dead at 3PM. She was only 42. My sister and I are only 22 and 20.

We're all still pretty much in shock.
We drove 12 hours straight through the night to get here. Now my sister and I are stuck with a big mess. My mother didn't leave a will, and we have to sort out her estate. She had a house, car, business, and an overwhelming amount of dept.
Since there is no executer named in a will we've had a hard time doing anything. We really need to find a lawyer in the area who specializes in this. We only have a week now before both of us have to go back to North Carolina
If anybody in the Royal Oak/Detroit, MI area would like to offer a few tips or a helping hand I would really appreciate it. A good lawyer, and maybe a few people to help move things out would be very helpful.
