  • Just a "little" dent!

Well some f*ck backed into my car with his Mexican special lowered Dakota, it's like having one of your own hurt or shot, pretty much the only thing I can think of at the moment. So anyways... I bring it to my neighbor, he’s an incredible body work guy, wham $2500.00 damage just like that... it'll be in the shop the 16th of August and will take 5 days to fix up. Luckily the side the guy hit had a few divits and the bumper had a nasty crack in the fiberglass both of which were present on the car when I got it but more importantly no mechanical damage even the rim is fine. The shop is going to replace the bumper cover with a Trans AM bumper cover so I'm psyched about that I always wanted it to have a Trans AM bumper cover and I won't even have to pay for it!

Here are a few pics of my new Magnaflow exhaust… I was planning on installing it today (08/06/04) but after what happened I was told not to change anything on the car so another 2 weeks of waiting....

More pictures of the mess and the exhaust system at my CarDomain site.

$2500 worth of damage? My 94 camaro was wayyy worst than that and it only costed me about $350 to fix it.

    Heres a pic

That includes rear berger panel, tail light and repainting the damaged area as well as the rear bumper. Oh and also aligning the hatch.

be lucky you don't live in michigan... we have no-fault insurance. meaning nobody is "at fault" and then your own insurance would have to pay for it. so if somebody backs into my car here, i'm **** outta luck. well, that is, if you have liability.
