  • C6 in car and driver

there's a 5-page article on the C6 in the september issue of car and driver. nothin but praise from them, it looks like a great car. what surprised me is that the base price will be roughly $1000 less than the C5.

    i read it also.

but the best thing in that magazine.

    little blurb in the begining:

THE SSR WILL BE GETTING THE LS2 FOR '05, ALSO GETTING A MANUAL TRANNY, AND WILL HAVE 0-60'S IN THE SUB-6 SECOND RANGE! SWEEEEEEEEEET!

maybe now that car might be worth 45K.

but seriously, that vette is amazing. i love it.

          iron is cheaper

          EDIT:

hey 97chevy, I test drove a stock 97 GTP the other day. Not bad at all. When I took off from a stop I was sure the wheels wouldn't hook up. Just thought I would tell you that.

yeah and the 97's were the slow ones ;) you should drive a 00+ model with a pulley, intake and exhaust work. you'd really like it. Quick and good daily drivers

              I like the SSRs.

Why the model they have right now doesn't have the LS1 is beyond me, but that's ****IN AWESOME THAT THEY'RE PUTTIN THE LS2 IN IT!!!

The best article was the news about the blue devil corvette, 725hp from a variation of the LS1. The goal is to produce it for around 100,000. Its the ford gt killer.
