Just an update on my toy....

Got new tires on, Metz Z6... Nice sticky tire btw

Got factory sprockets and chain installed. Last one sproket was tore up. Only 6 of 47 teeth left.

Cleaned up the body panels of decals. Just need to wash her down and get the plate.

Doing that on friday... playing hooky for a 4 day weekend on the bike!!

          Ok.. BOOB!

          1. You never take your car to a deal just cause you know they will beat the **** out of it...Same is triple for a bike!

          2. Will whip the **** out of your little 12 second time with that "trainning wheel" bike

Had to change the tires... can't put a normal jack under it. It's called a bike lift and rear stand for those 2 wheel'd challenged

Sweet man. Got it shinin damn nice...

How the hell did you tear up all them teeth??? Thats nuts.

I just made an eliminator kit for mine at work, and pinstriped the tank flames. Check it out, tell me what ya think. And I know, those stupid screw reflectors to hold the plate on are nasty, but I havent had the chance to swap em out with a decent screw and nut.

Any ideas what I should do next to dress it up a bit? (Besides a new pipe, thats commin )

I think you should chrome your rims. It looks sweet on blue yamahas. :D

Shine?? that was before I put the rubbing compound on it. Still need to wash the mechanics and put some Mothers wax down on the panels :D

I like those flames!! Those look sharp on the silver/black combo.

Wheels need to be washed still, but I think I'm going to polish the lip all the way back to the spokes. It's cheap and looks just as good as chrome ;)

I think you need to pull off the front fork reflectors, then invest in some frame slides. 50 bucks is a LOT cheaper than new body panels. Just cheap insureance. Then maybe a nice screen. Something with a fade to it would be nice against the silver

Yea, I was thinking about peg sliders, but... I really dont want to cut holes in my plastics for it... As you said though, man, theyd be really nice, so im still debating...

And those reflectors, you know what, I never even noticed those things till you said something... Those gotta go...

Yes, at least polish those rims, they need it... Mine are black, heh, very easy to keep looking clean. But my old bike had white rims with a polished lip too, and man, I remember the PITA it was to keep that lookin nice, so have fun with that, heh.
