    Chyrsler Crossfire

This is Chryslers version of Mercedes Brabus. They modify all the chyslers.
I found that the 6.1l V8 to be rather impressive. It looks like it would even out perform the z06. Stock this car is just barley of 3000lbs. It sure looks like one hell of a car.

Maybe James has some more info since he is a chrysler/Merc guy now.

Im pretty sure I have found my next car. It wont be this beast, but the more economical 3.2l version. I gave it a test drive and its numbers don't lie. It is very close in power to out 3.8s if not a little more because of the weight advantage.

I don't see how that is going to outperform the current Z06, much less the C6 Z06, but it is interesting.

From what I understand the z06 has around 405hp and weighs 3116lb

This thing has 426hp and weighs bewteen 3000 and 3200lb.

I figure that would be a close race.

I wouldn't pay $115,000 for a crossfire (saw that figure on google)

          "The STARTECH Coupe V8 6.1 takes just 4.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 - 100 km/h"

A 0-60 of 4.7 isn't fast enough to take on a Z06. There are so many more factors that determine race outcomes than horsepower and weight. I'd like to see a dyno sheet for the crossfire. It's all about the area under the torque curve, weight and weight distribution, suspension, gearing, etc.

the 2005 Z06 will have 500 hp, and still cost about half as much as the damn chrysler.
