    weight of stock rims (16")

    any one know, i tired searching the hole site and not gettign anything..... thanks

    I've been wondering this for months...

    Wondering if they would make a good set of track rims hehe..

        so it's approx 20 lbs then.

              then I hear its a toss up between shooters and pinated firebird 5-spokes.

                With tires, mine weighed 42 pounds.

                  Sigh..... you shoulda asked me :D

                  Salad shooters off the maro's are the lightest at 19 pounds

                  5 star's etc are about 20 pounds

                  The 17 X 9's (SS n hawk n ws6) are 21.5 to 22 pounds

                  All weights w/o tires [img]smile.gif[/img]
                  Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
                  nitrous et & mph: 12.168 & 110.95 mph, n/a 13.746 & 96.38 mph
                  2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8: 12.125, 116.45
                  2010 Ford Taurus SHO: no times yet

                    See I have heard that 10-spokes were the lightest, even over shooters.

                      SLP advertises all the available oem wheels for sale for an f body.... they also include actual weights.

                      salad shooters were the lightest.
