  • Payday!!

Tommorow is payday. I will have about 300 dollars left to play with. I just put a glass pack on my car where the cat should be. Which seems to have given it a little more jolt to it.

I have already changed the oil so i was thinking..

A.Get new spark plugs and spark plug wires
B.Have the computer tuned for 250 dollars to add about 50 horses.
C.Save it for a mod more expensive.

Remeber I have a 94 lt1. That has a glass pack(in place of cat), Flowmasters, and a K&N cold air intake. I wanna push this car to 350 horses. What would you do?

Don't do a tune yet. If it's been a while since the plugs and wires were changed, I'd do that first. Little things first, then big things. :D

make sure you have plenty of time to do plugs they are not fun.

you wont be getting that kind of hp from a tune on a n/a motor. i wouldnt do it yet if i were you, with your mods you'll be lucky to pick up 15 hp from a tune.

save the money and finish the exhaust. Long tubes and LT4 knock module are what you should be looking at for more power.

275 at the flywheel so if you assume a %15 loss then its would be 233 at the wheels. so I would say with your current mods you may have 245-250 rwhp

Well actually just came back from talking to the guy who does the computer tuning. He knows the guy who owned the car. He said the car dynoed at 245 rwhp. That was before the air intake. He done some kinda tuning to the motor...I wanna find out what. But anyways it is still a fun car to have...I had acutally thought about saving up until next summer and just adding a supercharger when i have the motor rebuilt.
