Why is this so hard to believe? I get low 30's with my GTP and almost 30 in my GS, and they're supercharged.

I guess if you had essentially the same car, with highway gears, minus all the problems but still getting less gas mileage, it tends to make it harder to believe.

Maybe it's NY. My buddy has a 2000 GTP and he gets less gas mileage than I do on the highway. We were just discussing this a couple days ago.

Well, you're car is a little bit older than mine, and though she's prolly serviced up good, being newer might be helping mine out some. I don't really know. Like I said, I just set the cruise and go, keeps me out of the throttle. Using the draft doesn't hurt either, lol. But yeah, I've seen the mileage range from as low as 11mpg to as high as 35 highway on some friends 3800's. The 11 mpg was a buddy with a heavily modded GTP who WOULDN'T take his foot out of the throttle. Anything's possible guys...take it or leave it. It's not like I'm going to gain anything by lying to you all on here. I haven't yet.... just figured you all would like to see some decent mileage out of our cars.

Nah man, I dont think you are lying. I don't think anyone in here lied. I just question the way you all did your math ;) lol. Just like you, I hit the cruise and just go, only decel and accel if forced to. Im more like, WTF, my car sucks if the rest of you pull 31-32 without even trying! Anyway, I was not calling BS, just saying, are you sure??? But I've come to the conclusion its just my POS.

I got 19.5 :( . But most of it is rural town driving, with some back roads at 55MPH.

If you look at the charts I've posted, you can see that my best was arount 31, but out of all my tanks, (~700 or so), I've only gotten a few THAT high.

I think I could believe someone lucking into a 32 mpg tank. A 35+ mpg tank, maybe all downhill with a tailwind. :D
