  • anyone else's computer ever do this?

idk if this comes from being in windows explorer so much or what (that is what I use when I work with files)
    it's really screwy
if I shut it down and open a new window it works fine, but I like my stuff in order so it's just a minor annoyance
wondering if anyone knew what causes it
we have corporate Norton, and I have adaware and spybot so it shouldn't be a virus or spyware
    but idk

      weird.

I would advise installing windows on top of itself and seeing if that fixes some damaged file or something.

I'd get the files you need off the computer onto dvd or some cd's, make a list of programs you have that you want to remember to get back, and do a reformat of your hard drive and reinstall windows. Nothing like a fresh install to fix problems.

            free online virus scanner

You can scan for viruses for free with this.

Also run Adaware for spyware programs.
