they main differences in those pics is the direction of the head and also the detail and number of feathers.

i think its a very bad idea. you will not drive your firebird forever and you wont only like pontiacs. trust me, this is going to be one of those you regret pretty soon after. besides, deep down inside, if you really were ok about getting it, you wouldnt ask us if its a stupid idea.

Ha, i got one and I love it. Even if I don't drive a pontiac for the rest of my life, it'll help bring back memories of my teen years. I say go for it if you really want it. Check out my cardomain

        Good point.
However, I like the first one the best, but with out the words over it.
The only thing that would suck about that one is that tattoo prices are basd on detail, so that one would cost a lot.

The pic with the head turned to the right is the emblem off of the earlier second gens. I think in the 3rd gens they changed the emblem and turned the head to the left. The change might not have taken place until the 4th gens, but I'm pretty sure it started with the 3rds.

I couldn't agree more. Plus the mainstream might be like "What are you? Some stupid redneck stuck in the 1980s'?" You better be able to handle peer pressure and have some thick *** skin.

Personally I wouldn't like one because:
                    1.Hate needles
2.Don't like the thought of having something permanent on me
                    3.I drive a Camaro not a bird

if you are going to get one I like the 1st or 2nd ones the best. Would you get it just in black and white or with color?

Times change. People change. A friend of mine got an Ozzy tat some 16 years ago. He doesn't listen to Ozzy any more and regrets getting the tat. Sure, it reminds him of HS, but it reminds him every day.

Skip the tat and get something for your car instead.
