  • trying to decide again on which car to buy CTS-V or Vette

well, they're both 05's the vettes red, the cts-v is silver ls2 400hp in the vette - ls6 400hp in the cts-v just dont know which one is better....k, I drive everyday doing appraisals obviously neither of them is practical but I kinda just recently fell in love with the caddie, even though you can't not (double negative) love a vette, its just perfect....but with the caddie I get a nav system w/ 6disk changer and bose system in the vette with nav the stereo isnt as good and you only get 1 cd, ok the caddie is more caddie inside but handles like the vette but is heavier and is not going to handle as well, but then again I dont really drive fast alot, hardly ever actually. but I like having power on command...ok so if you had a choice which one would you get....they're both 05's they're both in the 40k range and they'd both be 6 speeds. just lookin for another opinion.....and remember im 20, so if your older, remember back to when you were 20...k, thanks hopefully some of you are up late, if not Im bringin the caddie home tommorow mornin.

Normally I would say Vette, but that Caddy is hot and every exotic in it's looks.

For me it'd be no question, Vette for the win.

But, I do LOVE Caddie's new line of vehicles.

It's funny, I see way more old people in vettes than I do in those caddies because the vette is the ultimate mid-life crisis car. Those caddies are super nice but you have slightly more practical cars to use when you need them so hands down go vette. How the hell can you afford that though?
There is fast, too fast, and way too fast. Way too fast is almost fast enough.

ok most of you said what I was thinking the caddy, and in response to how I can afford it....well, I live at home have no major bills except insurance gas, car payment, and I make about 3k a month its going to be somewhat of a stretch, and Im a real estate appraiser, I went to the school a while ago and was able to jump right in it, and I only take one class at the local CC so I can work my *** off.

WOOHOO V here I come....and I would'nt keep the tahoe in case you were wondering, Im stripping it now. the maro' on the other hand, unless I slip up with payments it stays :D

I'd go with the Cadillac. You'd get more use out of it, in my opinion.

that or invest the money so you can later move out and buy a house.
