yup, in all this snow/sleet/freezing rain early this morning I ended up putting the bird in the ditch. just going along a mostly cleared road and all of a sudden the rear just came around. it was either hit the truck beside me or aim for the ditch. luckily the ditch was full of snow and mud and that softened the blow. no body damage but totally screwed the alignment on the front and probably the back, and I think I bent a tie rod to boot. other than that the bird just needs a bath and some TLC. first wreck I ever had and I am 20. guess I beat the odds for 4.5 years and in the end I do not need to turn it into the insurance company so I am still clean with them  still cannot believe how fast it happened and how I made the decisions I made and reacted the right way so fast. It could have much much worse if I had hit that big ars truck

Hey man, I completely sympathize. Last sunday night I rear-ended a dodge pickup and it happened to have a ball hitch . . . big hole in the bumper, but everything was alright. The guy I hit acted like nothing happened and kept driving. I don't know. It was midnight, maybe he was drunk, but no insurance business either. Just fix it myself and keep rolling.

Good luck with the alignment. I sympathize with the only car and working deal. I got stuck at work in a parking lot(work for a towing company) and had to be pulled out too.

the other day it was real slick when i was leaving school and i came up behind my friend at a stop light and slid about 2 inches from his back bumper from normal stopping.

oh yeah, he drives a Mercedes Benz C230. i sure would hate to have to pay for repairs on that. thank God for ABS

I'm running falcon ziex 255/50r16's, they grip well and they are cheap if you like to lightem up. Stock clutch doesn't like the extra grip.
