they're fun if your using them for shooting indoors b/c they arent really powerfull, but they arnt a target bbgun by anymeans. they're ment for 'bbgun tournements' like paintball, but w/ bb's

Do they sting when they hit you?

the bb's move between 250-350 fps out of them on average, so they'd sting if they hit bare skin, but wouldnt break the skin; if they hit clothing though it wouldnt be much of a sting

the stock electric guns shoot about 290 and up to 550 when heavliy modified. its like paintball but better. if you want an electric full auto one, only get a toyko marui(TM). if you want to buy new, try http://www.plyconsarmory.com/. i have two guns on ebay if your interested. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7136945863

well I first started looking into them when I saw them on tv. some military units were using them for training so solders would know what’s its like to actually be shot at without the fear of dying before they went to combat. I an in the national guard and we are either going to iraq, kosovo, or syria this fall. since this is the guard we have no budget for ANYHING so we need to come up with ideas we can to get the job done and when I saw this I thought it would be a great idea. I am thinking of buying a few of the cheep-o ebays ones and try a demonstration with the commander. other than initial cost(unless you go ebay), the up keep seems dirt cheep

by the looks of things the electric ones seem the best rout to go.

Hell yeah they do, when your close at least. They're fun and shouldn't break anything (including your skin). But yes it stings like crazy and will sting for like 2 minutes straight

Are there any of these tournaments in central or southern Ohio? This sounds like fun.

we did this to a friend of outs he immediately dropped to the floor like no other and started rolling around for no reason at all.

Then after he regained conciousness he said he blacked out haha, this was with a 100k V stun gun on the upper spine for about 3 seconds
