    Have you tried another operating system (i.e. Win98)? Kinda sound like the HDD has been fragged, but not sure. Have you tried removing everything but what's absolutely necessary yet?

      If you plan on getting a new HD, which is sounds like you're going to have to do, last ditch effort is to take the HD out and go crazy with a magnet [img]smile.gif[/img]

      It's not looking like that thing is any good though.

          The only thing that in there that not necessary is the 56k modem other than that it all necessary. So it looks like it time for a new HD and some magnet fun lol I luv trashing things when I can. [img]graemlins/banana.gif[/img] Unless it a F body or some awsome old school muscle car. O yah if u shake a HD drive should you here anything flopping around i think of the lil arm guys may be messed up.

            I don't believe you should be able to hear anything... then again anything can make noise if you shake it hard enough... lol

              When I tryed to install a copy of xp once it did the same exact thing. Gave me a blue screen in the middle of install and said someting of the sort. I got another copy and it installed fine.
