Tonight I started tearing down the dead LT1 for 383 stroker rebuild. So far everything looks normal but there was a bunch of crap in the fuel injectors. So far i've got all the wiring unhook, fuel system bled and unhooked, valve covers off, intake manifold and cylinder heads unbolted but still on, throttle body off radiator/condensor out, water pump off. Tomorrow the valvetrain is coming out. Im sooo greasy im going to take shower. I'll post pics later.

if i may make a suggestion, since your building this motor up pretty good, i'd say look into a procharger or somthing like that, my buddy jack put one on his 383'd T/A, he made 551hp at the wheels on 13psi while going dangerously lean, so 600+ should be expected with more fuel, he's running a stock trans with a centerforce clutch(i think) and a built rear, pretty sick. If i were you, i'd do that since the car is gonna be in peices anyway. Oh and he isnt made of money if your wondering, he works at NAPA
