  • I may be getting back into the F body game!

I just found a 2000 camaro v6 5 spd black on black leather for $9500. I am going to look at it tomorrow, the only option that I dont see is t top's. It has 37000 miles on it. I have already been approved for the loan from my credit union so, hopefully they still have the car and it checks out fine. Carfax says its a 1 owner florida car! What do you guys think?

dang dude, why dont you try for a z28? you can easily get one for that price unless its the insurance thats holding you back. but even then, its not too bad. give it a look

Insurance would be about $600 more a year. I would rather save my money and keep myself out of trouble. Plus I would need to get a higher milage ls1 and I don't want to do that.

          Im sorry. :(

Nah im just busting your balls.

What do I think? I think its worth the wait to get exactly what you want. And Ttops are what I wished I waited for. Wait, I lied, I did wait and got a W68 for 2 grand below KBB. So see, it does work. :D

I'd get one... but look around a little bit.

I got my car for $9500 with 32k miles in Nov '03

you can always swap leather in for about $600 if you must have it.

I had cloth and a hartop, but fully loaded otherwise with a 5-speed.

i got leather and it looks nice, but not the greatest(extremely cold in winter, wear lines). it wouldnt matter to me if i got it or not. but you could always do "leather" seat covers that look reall sweet for like 1/3 of the cost of a leather swap.

Not really set on leather, it just cam with that car. I think I am gunna wait to find a nice ls1/m6. The only options that I would have to have would be pw, pl, keyless entry and abs.
