Did anyone see the car he was getting made for himself in texas? It was on, I think it was the dicovery channel. Theres a company making copies of Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. They beaf it up a little more. Anyways.... He was getting what they call her big sister. They call it the super snake. Has a shelby 427 with a vortech on it. 725 hp. Things bad@ss. I wonder how much it cost him. Anyone know what i'm talking about?

I watched that on Rides last night. That Super Snake is BADA$$!! I would kill just for a ride in it. I was also really wondering how much they charge for your very own personal Eleanor. I'd buy one. And they don't JUST make copies of Eleanor, they actually made her for the movie. 12 of her, actually.

I thought there was another company that made her for the movie. The guys that made the compies i thought open there company after they saw that movie. Yea, because they said they've only been in busisness for a year and a half.

But they were talking about how they had 4 weeks to make 7 cars for the movie.

The people that were talking were different people. I think they had the company that made the cars for the movie talking, on the side of the company that was making for the consumer. Either or... It's a bad@ss ride, i'd love to contact them and see how much it'd cost.

uhm. They make clones of Eleanor. Foose and the other two guys were the ones that made the 12 prop cars that were used in the movie. But why order one from those fools when you can order a REAL GT500E from Shelby himself? Shelby American actually builds them too -- I'd rather get something thats a true GT500E instead of a clone -- both are great quality -- but I'd rather have the one coming from Shelby American Motors instead of "Unique Autos" or whatever the hell they're called....

Ture, I like to have a true GT500. But that super snake was bad@***. I'd rock it!

You know that Shelby American still has tons of left over frames and bodies from their late 60s GT350 and GT500 production lines? They have literally no miles on them and have been sitting in a warehouse for years. Thats the other reason I'd rather get one of those ;)

Do you think maybe they'll just sale you the body and frame?

Yes, I'm sure they will. Cash says a thousand words.

My dream is to build Eleanor from the ground up some day. Spend a couple years getting everything just right. You can build that car for 20-25k and sell it for 100k+ if you use OEM parts. Not that I would ever sell a sexy girl like that.
