i like the 1 owner, 6 speed, fairly low mileage for the age, t-tops, and it looks good too, the price could probably come down just a little though.

If you are serious about it - make sure it has had the optispark/waterpump done recently

yeah the opti usaully goes around 100k. they arent cheap either trust me. but then again there are some guys at like 180k on the original opti still. its hit or miss with those damn things. id try to talk them down a little on the price. lt1s handle milage like champs. that car if kept up can go another 100k no problem. if you check it out make sure it doesnt burn any oil, and check around the back of the intake manifold for oil leaks. the egr kind of kills the seal around the back of the intake manifold with all its heat. other than that, make sure the tranny shifts fine, no misfiring, oil leaks or coolant leaks and you should have a great car.

Everything that vannbibber stated. Just make sure the opti is alright. I had 190k when mine finally went. The motors are horrible if it goes out. Looks like a great car man. LT1's are nice! ;D

If you never want to deal with the opti ever again there is a DIS kit for us. http://delteq.com/

Yeah the opti is such a pain in the *** because its in the front of the engine underneath and behind the water pump and behind the harmonic balancer.

its a good 5-6 hour job. with plenty of cussing.

id like to do the ls1 coil pack conversion on mine, but it doesnt get rid of the whole optispark, just the cap and rotor, you still need the optical sensor.

yeah, my current car is black, so i can live with it, as long as it goes vroom! i'm happy
and on the optispark note, if you do the coilpack conversion isnt the rotor and the cap the main problem anyways?
and how much louder would it be without a cat, i dont think any of the cops around here would care, half of the trucks around here are straight piped all the way through, i would just love to see the faces on some of those hick's faces when my car is louder than their truck
