That's why I haven't been around lately and I haven't done much with my car or with life in general. My dad had stage 4 colon rectal neuroendocrine cancer. It's extremely rare. Found out about it in April of this year, because of his age at 78 and his low fitness level he didn't qualify for much of the treatments that are out there. They only did radiation therapy which was only meant to bring the cancer down, but not eliminate it. Anyway, he didn't die from the cancer, but from a lung infection. Since my family put him on hospice he wasn't admitted to the hospital.
Anyway, If it wasn't for my dad I wouldn't have my firebird. He cosign for it and when I was laid off during the recession period he took over the payments for a year. He never asked me to pay him back. He's also great at working on cars, probably because he's an airplane mechanic. It's going to be tough this Christmas and new year without him. He's always there for us.
