  • Back in the V6 world!!!!

    Pic's will be posted soon.

I needed a 4 door family ride as I have a little girl on the way

2010 Ford Taurus SHO in red candy metallic clearcoat
    3.5L twin turbo V6
    365 HP
    350 TQ
    All-wheel drive
    6 speed auto
    Navigation
    Heated, cooling, massaging front seats
    Sunroof
    Ford performance package
    20" wheels w/ goodyear F1 summer tires
    More aggressive brake pads
    Sharper steering
Fully defeat-able traction and stability control
3.16:1 diff (over the standard 2.77:1).

Oh and after 1 week, I ordered a Livernois tune, intake and thermostat.
This should put the car at 435 HP, 435 TQ and mid/ high 12's...for 900 bucks?!?!?!

And if I get bored and want to go a bit quicker, for another $900, I can get a downpipe, plugs, 3 bar MAP sensor and upgraded tune for 460/ 465 HP and 460/ 465 TQ

Yes, I still have the challenger.

I added a ported intake manifold, 88 MM throttle body and a tune...and hope to get 11's on street tires.

        Congrats on the baby there.

I like the SHO design myself. I had no idea they were AWD. They do weigh close to 4300lbs. Pretty hefty car.

the 08 cts 4 i had was pretty hefty too. had the "big" v6 in it, but the 06 cts was smaller, weighed less, and more fun to drive. if only it had the 08 interior and no sun roof, hated those things

              By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
