    Installed my latest mod today:

Yes it is just an idler pulley, but due to my involvement with UR, there will actually be some really cool new parts coming down the line for our cars. ;)

The idler pulley is available now at http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/ Part number IS6121. He doesn't have the 3800 series II cars listed for fitment yet, but I assure you it fits.

Very nice. Will they have one for crank?

I am actually looking for a water pump pulley with ribs instead of smooth ones we have. Is this something do you think UR can fabricate?

              ;)

Why do you want a ribbed water pump pulley? Do you have a water pump that is designed to be spun in the opposite direction? If so, it is definitely something UR can do.

Might as well do all the pulley's , I would buy a kit.

                      One at a time. ;)

The water pump pulley is a 8.5% underdrive and 0.75lbs lighter than stock, should net 2-3rwhp.

The alternator and power steering are next. The crank will have to wait.... ;)

I did make 9 extra water pump pulleys if anyone wants one.

maybe I should know the answer but what advantage does this pulley come with?

I have a supercharger with a double ribbed belt set up. So yeah, if you can fab. one please let me know and for how much. Thanks.

Weight loss, power increase, mpg increase.

                              Re: New part

Had more time than I expected today, so I went ahead and made an alternator pulley as well.

It is 128 grams lighter than stock.

When it is all added up:
                              Water pump = 340g
                              Smooth idler = 60g
                              Ribber idler = 175g

For a total of 703g or 1.55lbs of rotating mass reduced.
