  • Never introduced myself

I've only been a member on here for over 5 years, but I just realized I never introduced myself. My names Kyle and I have a 96 y87 Camaro. I'm from a family that has a bunch of F-bodies, 6 in all at the moment. It Has about 184k miles and 30+ track passes on it. It has also been my dd for over 5 years now. Nothing special besides bolt ons for now. Most of the money has gone into the suspension on this car.

    Small list of the mods
    Appearance:
    Ultra Badass head light swap
    LED interior
    Corbeau Forza seats
    97 SS spoiler

    Re: Never introduced myself

    Couple track videos and stuff:

My best run of a 15.279 @ 89.36 or something from last November. Video sucks because the camera didn't shoot.

One of my meh runs against my friend in his 4.6 turd and my brother losing his lsd and my stepsister missing 3rd. Red Camaro has run a best of 13.402 at 104.40 and the white one has done a 13.113 at 106.4.

I also have another car as well:

Here it is with my brother's red 96 dd Chicken, and his lt1 swap Camaro.

      Re: Never introduced myself

My other car is a 94 3.4 Chicken. Got it last December for a dd and it has sort of turned into a project which I didn't really want to happen. Had a blown up 3.4 in it, but I'm currently working on getting a 3400 from an Alero in it which is going along rather smoothly. Not much to say about it besides that its blue and has white leather Camaro seats in it and a graphite interior swap done.

As it sits from a few days ago.

With the old turd in it

      3400 all bolted up

What it will sort of look like when its done.

Obviously I have left a lot of things that have happened over the last 5 years out, but you get the picture. Any questions just ask.

Ha, I have seen that. This will be the 3rd engine swap I've done, but the first to one of my own cars. Almost wish I had a 3rd gen for the swap. The engine is about 1/4" below the cowl right now.

Always fun to have a second car to dump money into. I also have a 73 Maverick in need of a restoration, but thats a slow project.

So is that bird running right now? What the difference between the 3.4 from the Alero other than the intake there?

Aluminum heads that flow a boat load better and the intakes are much less restrictive. It would probably run right now, but no headers yet, and it would leak just about everywhere.

I have loads of pics of them. They are from a truck, and its a pretty easy swap. Credit goes to a guy on another forum for showing them to me.

No idea what your talking about;). Oh yea, you still have that tapped lower intake. I may take that off your hands if you still have it after the gathering.
