I remember reading a long while ago that there were people that quit their jobs and had just enough money and resources to get them to Dec 21st...which I think is absolutly insane

I have a friend of a friend that dropped out of university because he legitimately thinks the world is ending.
Julius Caesar added leap years to his calendar when he ruled. If you factor in the thousands of leap years we have had, technically the world should have ended a long time ago....

Mayan calender takes into account the leap years... Apparently it is the most accurate calender out there.
